Required Experience:
Must have 2 or more years experience working independently as a Marine Painter or Powertooler
One year of formal training may be substituted for one year of work experience, pending coordinator approval.
Must work in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment.
Ability to apply coatings while maintaining desired MIL thickness.
Ability to use power tools to accomplish cleaning.

Preferred Experience:
Proof of OSHA Maritime 10-hour completion
VSRA Safety Training
Currently or recently held Rapid Gate Clearance
Ability to pass safety related physical, hearing and respiratory fit test as required by OSHA
C-12 and C-14 Certified Paint Spraying
2 or more years in applying marine coating of epoxy, high solid, and non-epoxy paints.
Proof of OSHA Maritime 10-hour completion
VSRA Safety Training
Currently or recently held Rapid Gate Clearance
