Must be able to repair, rebuild, or overhaul all types of production and
service equipment.
Essential
Functions May Include:
Reading and interpret blueprints, technical
drawings, and shop sketches.
Ability to program, set up and operate CNC machine tools including, but not limited to lathes and mills.
Use of conventional machine shop equipment and machinery to cut, machine and shape/ fabricate raw materials in accordance with drawing requirements.
Build fixtures and various holding devices as needed to hold or support work pieces in process
Proficiency in the use of off-line programming software used in developing CNC programs a plus.
Analyze job requirements and use best shop practice to meet drawing requirements in the most efficient time.
Proficient in the use of various hand tools as necessary to achieve finish requirements.
