Welder

Functions May Include:

•   Lay out work to be performed from written and verbal instructions. Select most effective welding 
    sequence.

•   Perform or directs all necessary actions to ensure proper and adequate welds are in accordance with     
    industry standards, the higher standard will be met.

•  Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal and or overhead positions.

•  Bolt, clamp, tack weld parts to secure in position for welding.

•  Set up equipment and weld parts, using GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW processes.

•  Time management of welding performed on job or project(s)

•  Read and understand processes, procedures, work instructions and technical data related to welding    and processing work through the shop.

•  Operates equipment while utilizing safe work habits to perform job function.

•  Housekeeping and cleanliness of welding equipment and work area.

• Must be able to work shift work or overtime as required.
• Other tasks as directed by Supervisor.

• Must have own tools.
